On February 1st, I gave up chocolate.
It deserves a line all by itself, don't you think?
People asked me' For Lent?' And I just said, 'No, just February'. But actually, February turned into March. Then I replied, 'No, just for a while'.
And now it's April 1st. I can't believe I've done it. This is the stuff-four-chocolate- bars-in-after-the-other girl. Addicted to chocolate when marking exercise books or, worse, A level essays.
When I was asked a few days ago, I said, 'No, for good,' then gasped at myself.
Now I'm kind of thinking. .. what next?
Well, after a week of Center Parcs food indulgence, I'm feeling very overweight and unhealthy. So I want something to make me healthy.
So I'm going sugar free, and bringing fat back into my life, after years without it.
I'll explain later how I have done sugar free and good fats before, well before it was 'trendy'.
I'm starting on Sunday, April 3rd, as I'm at a hen party tomorrow. My other resolution is to blog it. Just really so I have a record of it!
